SCHOLARSHIPS

Introduction

The Florida Public Service Association, Inc. offers scholarships to its student members yearly. To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, the student must hold an Active Membership for a minimum of three years and attend two State Leadership Conferences and be present at the State Leadership Conference in their senior year.

Qualification

To be eligible for active membership in a chartered FPSA, Inc. Chapter, a student must be enrolled in a secondary public service education program, a program completer as recognized by Florida Department of Education, or enrolled in a law, public safety and security course in grades 6-8 as defined by the Florida Department of Education Curriculum Frameworks.

Submission

The student must complete the scholarship application and mailed to the state director and postmark by March 7, 2025. Emailed or text message applications will not be accepted. The student is responsible for verifying the application was received.

The scholarship committee will review the applications and choose the students that fulfill the qualifications of the scholarship.  The Florida Public Service Association, Inc., will award up to six (6) one-thousand-dollar ($1,000) scholarships at the State Leadership Conference.
