The Florida Public Service Association, Inc. (FPSA) is a not-for-profit led by a Board of Directors with a State Director to run operations and coordinate the affairs of the association. Each chapter is self-governing and elect students to serve as officers under the supervision of a school approved advisor.

During our annual state leadership conference, students elect state and regional officers. FPSA prides its self on being a student-driven organization. Our State Officers provides student leadership on a state-wide level and our regional officer provide guidance on the local level. Each Chapter advisor is assigned to a Regional Advisor for assistance.

With nearly 1,400 members across the state of Florida, students compete in a series of career development and competitive events in the areas of criminal justice, firefighting, teaching assisting, public administration and much more.

Competitions are designed to be in alignment with the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) curriculum framework as approved by the State Board of Education.
