Who We Are

Building the Next Generation of Public Service Leaders

The Florida Public Service Association, Inc. (FPSA) is a nonprofit career and technical student organization dedicated to preparing students for meaningful futures in public service.

FPSA bridges the gap between classroom instruction and real-world application. Through leadership development, career exploration, and competitive events, students strengthen their knowledge, confidence, and practical skills.

Our statewide community brings together students, educators, advisors, and public service professionals who share a commitment to excellence, integrity, leadership, and service.

Education in Action

Co-Curricular by Design.
Real-World by Experience.

FPSA is more than an extracurricular activity. As a co-curricular organization, FPSA enhances career and technical education by connecting classroom instruction with practical experiences.

Through leadership, collaboration, and competition, students apply what they learn, strengthen their professional skills, and prepare to meet the demands of careers in public service.

Your Future in Public Service Starts Here.

Whether you are a student exploring career opportunities, an educator expanding learning beyond the classroom, or a supporter of tomorrow's leaders, there is a place for you in FPSA.

WE ARE CO-CURRICULAR, NOT EXTRA-CURRICULAR

When integrated into public service curriculum, FPSA involvement is a co-curricular activity that is an extension of the student's learning experiences.

FPSA offers leadership programs and career development events that are reflective to the current curriculum standards and trends in the respective public service fields.

In FPSA, students are able to develop and enhance their soft skills and master the hard skills that community members want from their leaders and what employers seek from their employees.

FPSA teachers, advisors, trainers, and mentors are able to provide students with real-world application to the skills they learn in the educational setting.

At FPSA, we believe that students should be more than just workforce and career ready, they need to be public service ready as well.
